Facebook has made many advancements in the past few years and, as a result, has experienced an explosion of popularity across the world. However, some Facebook users are still a little unsure about the mechanics of certain activities on the website, including the filtering of groups for statuses and invitations to events. Facebook is much easier to organize friends in groups like Family, Colleagues, Close Friends, and so on. While log in to the facebook you will see automatically decorate friend list in groups to left sidebar. You should see Close Friends and Acquaintances at the top; these are the two lists that you have to fill up manually. The rest friend lists are populated automatically, but you can add or subtract friends from each list if you like.
Sorted by close friend : Click on the close friend from the sidebar to bring up a new page that let you add friends to the list and update your status so that only friends on the list can see it. You can add more of your close friend by typing their names into the box up top or heading over to you main Friends list and adding them manually.
The Acquaintances list works the same way.
If you want to create a new list to organize your friends :
1. Scroll down to Friends on the left side of your News Feed and click More.
2. Click Create List.
3. Enter a name for your list and the names of friends you’d like to add. Keep in mind you can add or remove friends from your lists at any time.
4. Click Create.
If you want to send out an update to a list, just click it and start typing in the text box. You can also limit your feed to one list or skip around freely. From the main FB page, any update can be limited to a particular list. To do this Go to News Feed under the Favorites section, just click Public under the text box and select a list which you want to send.
